Corporate Social Responsibility
More and more corporations and organisations worldwide are playing their part in doing good for the community through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
GAT presents a myriad of innovative ways to engage staff about social consciousness via customized programs and workshops. This provides corporations with a more active and hands-on way of giving back, compared to charitable donations. It stresses the importance of more sustainable ways of helping the disadvantaged.
GAT at MCYS (2010)
MCYS staff organizes collection of old clothes to be recycled into pouches and bags by GAT for their loved ones.
GAT at StatsChip Pac (2011)
Staff learnt simple crafting from a non-speaking hearing-impaired individual, giving them first-hand experience of the skills that the disadvantaged can possess. They then used the technique learnt to create their own new innovative products. A competition was held to select the products that had the most commercial market value.

GAT at CHIJ (2009, 2010)
Educational Institutions play a key role in instilling social responsibility and moulding attitudes towards the disadvantaged from a young age.
AT CHIJ, GAT organized a couple of activities for students to learn about the less fortunate. Primary One students stuffed patchwork animals sewn by the disabled, and Primary Two students learnt the traditional art of leaf printing and made prints on pouches handmade by women from impoverished villages.
Students are introduced to the concept of social enterprise through an education video. They complete the handmade gifts to bring home for Mother's day.
